Bricked 7608 NVR?

I installed the 3.09 firmware from the European site and now my NVR won't boot.

It shows a Hikvision graphic on the screen, beeps twice, then the monitor seems to shut down.

It seems to try to reboot and beeps twice again but that's it.

Is this thing dead?

Any way to recover it?

It does not show up on the network using the SADP tool.

Whew. Fixed it after multiple attempts with various tftp servers. I eventually found a link to the actual old Hikvision one on a Russian site that worked.

The tftp server from solarwinds -- no luck for me.

I do not understand why you have any difficulties!
Would you even screenshots made​​, that what you have does not work!

It was easy once I found the right tftp server. Finding it was a bit harder to do. Lots of threads, but not many links on Hikvision's site that worked. I then thought "it is trivial; how hard can this be?" and found a decent tftp server from solarwinds... but couldn't get it to stream the file...
