I use email to get notifications. Email server works fine. Deepstack works fine.
My email is gmail and it will thread emails if they have the exact same title. This is the behavior that I want. Rather than seeing 3 separate threads each with 1 email when someone crosses 3 cameras, I should see 1 thread with multiple emails. There are good reasons to prefer both potential options and you can place a variable in your email subject line setup to accomplish this.
The Deepstack options, by default, replaces your standard email subject line with DS status. There is a checkbox that should disable this default behavior, I think. "Replace alert email/SMS text with status"
However, checked or unchecked, my emails are the same and always include the DS status. My default email subject and body settings are ignored. Is this option broken or am I not understanding it?
