Eerie sunset thru smoke, from yesterday 7pm - San Jose.
On top of all the destruction from the fires, we are also experiencing the worst air quality in the world.
Prayers to all whose life is at risk, and those that put their life in risk to protect.

In 2003 I took a motorcycle ride to Glacier National Park. Unfortunately when I got there it was on fire and Going to the Sun Road was closed. This is what the entrance (west side) looked like when I got there:

As I rode around the park I ran into the smoke, it was really choking. I'm sure nowhere near what they have in CA now.

Long before humans were here(in great numbers as we are today) to put them out, it was a natural cycle at times. Long before the theory of global warming carbon emissions.

I wonder what the Wholly Mammoth think of global warming :rofl:
