Glad it didn't hit anybody or someone could've easily died from such force and size of the vent cover.

sorry for the late response winds were consistent 40 mph plus with gusts above 50

Just looking at the palms those really weren't that high a wind per se. Yes, higher than typical I'm sure, but not something that a well-constructed vent should not have easily withstood. Bad builder.
