I bought this new in December 2025 direct from Camect. It's a Network Video Recorder for IP-based security cameras. This model will record up to 12 camera feeds. It works with over 50 camera brands including Nest, Arlo, Wyze, Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Amcrest, Reolink and any IP camera that supports Onvif or RTSP. Their software works without a subscription, but they do offer a cloud-based "pro" subscription which provides additional features. (I used it without the subscription.) I found the software very user-friendly, but it only lets you access the system from the Chrome browser, which is one of the primary reasons I switched to something else. Camect integrates reasonably well with Home Assistant, Hubitat, etc.

Under the hood, this is a Linux mini-PC running an Intel J3455 with 4GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. I suspect you can repurpose this for other tasks if you want, but I've always used it as an NVR. The device was reset to factory defaults and tested afterwards to confirm it boots clean.

The case is 5-inches by 5-inches by 2-3/16 inches tall. But you can detach the "base plate" (which allows you to add additional storage) and make it smaller if you wish.

See all the specs at Camect Smart Camera Hub (60 Days) (You won't get the two free months of "Camect Go" because they've already been used.)

This retails new for $649. I'm asking $350 + $10 shipping in CONUS.
