camera didn't adjust for time zone change

Guys - I have 2 dahua IPC-HDW5231R-ZE which are identical with hardware & software/firmware revisions. One automatically adjusted for day light savings while I noticed the other one didn't till I rebooted it. Isn't that odd and how do I avoid such future occurrences?

Also is there a newer software version than this - is it worthwhile upgrading and where do I download it?

You will need to contact the vendor you purchase the cameras from for the newer firmware.

I have one that does that too. I think it got hardcoded to a different time zone format or something. I simply changed it to a timezone one off of mine and all is good.
