So we have this problem.

we have 3 honeywell camera's on a pole.
they are connected with a 4 port switch(non poe) with one main line going to the recorder (honeywell ip performance 16ch)

Continually 2 of the 3 cams on that pole get an error (ip)
its never the same 2 cams. they keep changing.

any idea what it could be??

Like @bp2008 said we could do with some more information / picture to help diagnose but I would start with checking IP address to see if you have conflicts..

I see that Suriname is in the 80's (F) lately and am thinking about a possible thermal issue with the switch.
If possible try swapping out the switch, as that would address an issue with it other than temperature-related.

Being on a pole it may be getting vibrations and other mechanical and thermal influences that affect even the mechanical integrity of the Ethernet connections, so you may think about that also.

SUMMARY: Both the above suggestions from forum members are foremost and very valid; just suggesting to not overlook thermal and mechanical issues.

P.S. - Welcome to IPCT! :)
