Now that the cameras can finally see the light, ahem I mean world wide web here is something that need a little clarification. Lets say i setup motion on the camera itself and have it email me that works, but since the camera has much more granular adjustment than the NVR is there any way to have it trigger a record event to the NVR without having to point the camera to the NVR drive and get into the whole NAS stuff? OR does one simply have to create an event and trigger on the NVR in order for it to record?
Ideally in a perfect world and maybe with some other cameras/nvrs, I imagine you can fine tune on the camera the event that you want the NVR to record and by virtue of having the nvr plugged in it simply records. also as for fine tuning say the expert motion is turned on, at what point does the camera not get impacted by the nvr and vice versa?
