So I have 4 cameras and have two installed on my garage. One camera will be placed inside the garage, but where would be good place to install 3rd camera so that I may view this side of garage. I tried over door but didn’t really like the view, tried on corner behind other camera looking down side didn’t like that view either. Tried on corner by side door looking towards house and wasn’t crazy about that view either. So far here are my currently installed cameras on each corner of garage facing back of house. Looking for suggestions and tips.EBA8E406-8635-43C6-A206-82925A131542.jpeg30A38197-2A85-4DB9-8888-2FBBCEC14D09.pngF780CEB5-000C-4C0B-9570-0878937DD63A.pngB86CCEFD-6753-421D-8E95-D62F7669B722.jpeg1E61EE90-025C-420C-9889-62FA0D7EFCEB.jpeg

yup, i would've suggested the same. you might try a 'corridor' view there, turning the cam's eyeball about ~70 degrees clockwise (facing the lens) from where it is now...

That won’t make it look side ways or is their a “corridor” view setting like “flip camera”

Is one of those junction boxes and conduit along the garage going over to the lighting in the landscaping?

If not, at least a few brick pulls is easier than busting out concrete LOL.

Yes. Most cams have a rotate option in the image settings page. If not BI can do it too ( if using)

Those seem like good locations. One change you could make if it's not too late would be to mount them lower. Everyone here will point out that as bad guys get closer to the cameras, all you'll get is the top of their hoodie. If the cameras are lower, you'll have a much better chance of getting faces. It's almost a cliche, but you want to see who did it, not just what they did.
I walked around seeing how they would work, I haven’t made any changes to settings yet (so these are factory settings). But I think they did pretty well capturing face. I was acting like I was getting into vehicle lol.235ED292-333E-4E52-A045-BD6EB6C5D99F.pngCD9DDC50-1292-4DB7-9EB8-E62DBE2B0DE0.png

Ok dumb question, I haven’t made any changes to settings, they say do it from the camera and not the NVR. How do you get straight into camera, without going through NVR or viewing app. Not sure how you go about doing this.

What cams are these? Could they stay in color at night?

You will never have a perp look straight at your cam like your test shots. I really think they need to be zoomed in a little more. Door checkers are always moving. Even if they stop walking their heads are always moving. Try that same test but continue to move and look into the car windows. Don't just stand upright facing the cams.
