Camera problem

See this post to change IP:

You'll do the same but use 192.168.1.64 as the address instead of .108.

What are you using as an IP address range normally?

I’ve got my new camera on but it’s on the same IP address as one of my old ones. It first showed the back garden then the driveway of my house it’s like it’s switching between the two, how do I sort that?.

Go into the settings for the camera and change the IP address. Your old one was probably left on the default so when you added this one, it had the same. You should change both so neither is left at the default.

@Mike A. told you what to do in post #21 .

Essentially, unplug the old cam, plug in the new cam, log into it at 192.168.1.64 and change to a unique static IP that is NOT 192.168.1.64 or the same as the old cam or the NVR's LAN.

Would 192.168.1.65 work as a new IP? None of my others have that address, thanks.

Yeah they have all been left on default I’ve never changed any of their IPs they usually assign themselves a new one but this one didn’t, I’m learning something new.

Yes, it should.

If unsure, bring up command window: TypeWindows Key +R, then type in "cmd" without quotes, hit <enter>
In black command window type "ping 192.168.1.65" without quotes, hit <enter>.
If no reply back, the entered IP address is not currently in use.

Thank you I’ll try that later.
