I am looking for a camera for outdoor soffit installation. I need reasonable night vision up to about 10 meters. I would like a smaller form factor. Preferably not a large bullet. Need POE & BI compatibility. What are my options in the under ~$125 range? What else should I be thinking about before choosing?

The sweet spot for low-light image quality seems to still be cameras that use the 2MP 1/2.8” sensors, like Dahua Starlights or Hikvision Dark Fighters.

Thank you so much. I will go with that one. On a slightly different note. Is there any use for the smaller bullet cameras? Through my reading, it seems that there is just not even space in them to house good electronics.

IIRC, Dahua has some mini-bullet and mini-dome models in the Starlight model lineup. They don’t have a varifocal lens, but the rest of the electronics should be similar.
