Camera Stops recording even though there is motion.

Hello, We have a DS-768nI-E2/8P setup and have noticed while watching playback camera doesn't record all motion sequences. IE: car backing out of garage is recorded then car disappears. It doesn't capture all motion, same if person walking down street, one minute they are recorded next they are gone. We have system set to motion detection not continuous. Hoping someone can help please.

Try this: In Configuration>Storage>Schedule Settings, select Motion from the drop down menu. Then click the Advanced option. Change the Post-Record to something higher.
