Hello, I am looking to set up a camera on my bee hives and hope to train AI to monitor swarming and robbing activities. Both activities are bad for the colony and are also very visually different from normal bee activity. Around a normal hive, you will see a few hundred bees flying at a time. When it is swarming or being robbed there will be many thousands of bees flying. The cameras that I have are all 2.8mm and are too wide angle for this application. I think something around 6 to 8mm might be better. A variable focus might be the best option. I will be running CAT6 cable to it so it needs to be POE too.
