Getting the hang of it

I am getting the Yellow-Triangle-Warning icon on the A180 camera all the time, and on the 5442 camera often.

The help states "The FPS or keyframe rate is too low, or there is a publishing error".

For the A180 camera:
In BI, on Video tab I have the Max. rate. set to "666667 [15.00 fps]"
On the camera I have the Frame Rate (FPS) set to "25" on the main stream and on the sub stream I have the Frame Rate (FPS) set to "15" and the I Frame Interval set to 15.
because I thought the 3 values were supposed to match.

I have set BI to use a Main Stream and a Sub Stream for the camera.

What have I done wrong?

Thanks,

Eric

The FPS, and the iFrames should be the same on both sub and main streams.
You have 25fps on the main, and 15fps on the sub.

The max bitrate will adjust it's self automatically, or you can set it 1 FPS higher than what the camera is set at.

Ok, I thought that in some post I read that the main should be 25 and the sub should be 15, but I was reading so much stuff that I could have confused things. I will make the changes.

Thanks,

Eric

Most here run 15FPS and 15 iframes. 25FPS is higher than movies LOL.

But the yellow warning you are getting and if you get after changing this to 15 then means you are either overloading the camera or it isn't getting sufficient power. With these cameras the FPS and iframes do not change like they do on Reolinks.

Changed all 3 cameras to be 15 FPS for both main and sub streams, and those that have I Frames, I also set that value to 15.

I'll see what happens now over time.

Thinking about it, I think I came to the conclusion that they should be 25/30 for the main and 15 for the sub stream because that was what the EmpireTech cameras had by default (I tested by hitting the default button on that specific page on the camera UI and that I that was what the settings were).
