Trying to clear up my audio capture , hard to hear the nature sounds with all the background hiss noises from internal mics.

I was hoping that external microphones might help, or if anyone has any other ideas?

I use internal and external and think the internals work pretty darn well. Do you have the camera's noise filter turned off?

yes , with the filter turned on it chops up the beautiful bird noises

I'd like to try some of the microphones from amazon where the reviews say they can clearly hear human voices far away crystal clear. I already own two that i attempted to use with 3.5mm line in on blue iris, but that produced.... sub par results.

This microphone, I believe, is the most commonly used by forum members:

Microseven IP Cameras

It's what I settled on after trying a few. But it's not a huge improvement over the mics in my cameras.
