Can’t get second HDD to be used

I installed a second 4TB HDD in my NVR. It says it is running but it won’t record on it. It just keeps recording over the 2TB HDD it came with. Any tips or suggestions? The user manual is useless. It’s a Dahua OEM NVR.

If you look at the setup pages, can you see your second hard drive there and choose "initialize/format disk"? If not, I would advice to connect the disk into a desktop pc to verify if it's not faulty.

Thanks for the response. Looks like changing the group number for both HDDs to the same number worked. Seems to be recording at the same time now.
