Can I mount a dome cam on this post?

Any reason I shouldn't put a dome camera in place of the one that is currently there? I like the look of it better than the bullet, but don't know if its practical or not.

Bullet or dome, personal preference i believe. The Hikvision 2032 Bullet is 4mm vs the Hikvisiion 2.8mm. A wider 2.8mm might be a better solution here, just have to see where the cars stop at this location.
