Can WDR/BLC/HLC be used to compensate for IR reflection from spider webs?

I installed a system for a very rural location last week and the local insect population is rampant. The client doesn't need motion event emails so triggering alerts isn't a problem. The main problem is that some times the IR glare from a strand of spiderweb will just black out the rest of the image and make any recording unusable. Are there any settings in WDR, BLC or HLC that I can use to compensate for this? Or perhaps some more settings? The cameras in question are Hik-Vision DS-2CD2T45FWD-I5 4MM units.

I don't believe so.
Assuming the webs are going to be a very common feature the way to avoid them is to take away the light that's reflecting off those that are so close to the camera.
In other words, shut down the camera IR LEDs and provide separate IR illumination.
