I keep trying to use the integrated support for AI, however I can't figure out things.
I'm filtering people for example in my doorstep, a person is being identified, however not alerted.

Now you need to go to the alerts tab to tell it to alert you when it triggers based on your criteria.

Look at the image you posted for camera "CamDoor":
At bottom left is a button under "Actions" named "On alert".
Click on it and on the next page that comes up configure the type of alert you want, such as sound, SMS text, push notification, etc.
More info can be found in BI's built-in "Help" file in "Cameras" => 'Alerts and Actions"

Its alerting my MQTT so I can do stuff externally, but this is not even registered in the local alerts even, this motion is not listed there.

OK, that is a different issue. I have had that happen when I would upgrade to the next version.

Usually a reboot of the computer would get it going again.

A few of the updates, it didn't work in my setup, so I rolled back to a previous update.

So try reboot first, rollback second and you will get it showing the alerts in the timeline and to the left alert bar.
