Can't get rid of a camera named "motion"

I have a niggling crash that keeps happening with Blue Iris. It's running as a service, and as far as I can tell that is actually running just fine. I will sometimes see a crash when I open the BI interface (through Remote Desktop). To recover, I have to open the task manager, and stop the BI application. It restarts immediately because it's running as a service.

Once BI is running again, I access it with the BI interface and find a new, no-signal camera in the BI screen. I can delete the camera for the session, but when the BI interface crashes again that mysterious no-signal camera "motion" reappears. The crash doesn't seem to be BI itself, because video continues to record in the background even though I get a message that BI has stopped.

I've probably made a setting change somewhere to cause this, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Any clues to help?
