BI4 downloaded and installed itself the other day. Afterwards, BI3 would no longer start, giving an error message that I needed to check to see if I had the right version (32 bit or 64 bit). So I decided to give BI4 a try and it seemed to work okay, except the Options dialog box was mis-sized, with the font being a large pixelated variety, so that I could only see the top left corner of each box. At that point, I ran the bi_update executable in the BI3 program folder, after which BI3 started successfully, however, the display of the options dialog was now unusable in BI3 as it had been in BI4!
I run BI on a semi-dedicated machine on top of Win7 Pro with all the updates. This problem definitely started with the automatic installation of BI4. I've considered reinstalling my graphics drivers, or even reinstalling the entire OS and starting fresh with BI4. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
