Hi There,
Newbie question
I have a hikvision NVR running a combination of Hikvision and 3rd party PoE IP Cameras. I recently bought a reolink camera, have configured it and can successfully stream through the NVR , via the hard wired monitor attched to the NVR (and when connected directly to puter through a PoE Switch). However I can not access the Reolink GUI through the NVR. when I access the Hikvision gui the URL supplied by the config manager is 192.168.0.56:65008

I;ve updated the firmware on the ReoLink
I leave it to DHCP
I enable UNPN, RTSP, HTTP, SHTTP, etc

For love nor money I can to access the IP Cam gui (If I hard wire the Reolinkto my Lan then access to gui is fine)

The other thing I will mention is my NVR is on 192.168.0.56 with am internal IPV4 address of 192.168.254.1 All the other IPCameras on the NVR have a 192.168.254.* ip address aside from my reolink which has been assigend 192.168.0.3

Any help appreciated

SHTTP or HTTPS?
turn off HTTPS if you have it on......
With that IP assigned, It seems like its being added as a Lan device or remote device.

And /or try adding the device to the NVR as a remote device.
Dahua NVR's have an option to scan/search for remote devices.
and based on what it finds, you can select it and add it, and then edit its port number to 554
and then I can get to the GUI

And the NVR is showing the video for the Reolink when it is using that IP address?

That suggests the Reolink camera is connected to the LAN, as opposed to being connected to a PoE port on the NVR, and the channel it's been assigned is configured to use a LAN IP address as opposed to the default 192.168.254.x address of the PoE ports. It's a valid configuration choice when there are also LAN-connected cameras to be added to the NVR.
It's on the same address range as the NVR LAN interface, as opposed to using the 192.168.254.x range that the NVR PoE ports use.
If so - the way to reach the Reolink web GUI is to access it directly on 192.168.0.3 instead of via the virtual host link of the NVR web GUI.

@alastairstevenson - thanks but no joy. with all the turning on/off resettign etc I'm loosing track, yesterday for some reason the NVR assigned a 254 subnet (Still couldnt; access gui ) - (fiddlig with settings - i think i reset and assigned a static IP to the Reolink) today its back to 192.168.0.3

SO frustrating, not got the energy right now but I Will try hard reset the Reolink, reboot the NVR, open ports on Reolink and try a different port on the NVR

nope - wring to a different PoE outlet on the NVR did nothing to resolve my issue

it has to be something really simple !!! - i just need someone with a smarter brain than me !
