I am looking for some advice on how to get a sharper video. Currently have default camera and default blue iris setups. The only real modification I’ve made so far is having video sent direct to disk to minimize cpu usage.

The camera is a Dahua IPC-B5442E-ZE.

Video uploaded and here is a link:
Thanks

Video looks sharp to me. Great lighting. You just need more zoom if you are looking to keep an eye on that car overnight.

Agree with @mikeynags , you simply dont have enough zoom.

Other problem is the car is parked in an effective black hole between the trees. Even with zoom you may find you dont have enough light. What is your exposure setting? DNR?
I find I can keep my fixed 3.6mm version in color with lots of light at 1/60 and 50 DNR. Anything less you're going to get some motion blur..

More zoom, it would have been great with better zoom. Install another camera near this one with zoom and leave this one up as an overall camera

Dashcam would be better, because even with better light & zoom the angle is wrong unless dude looks towards house.
