Cheap and energy efficient hardware for ZoneMinder server

I plan to setup a camera system with around 4 2MP cameras with ZoneMinder as NVS.
I also think about using zmeventnotification with the facial recognition stuff if I get it to work.

Would a raspberry PI be able to handle to handle the cameras?
Would something like a Coral TPU Stick be enough to handle the facial recognition stuff?
If not, is there another cheap Single-Board-Computer which I could use for this purpose?

A rasberry pi should work with zoneminder. You definitely would want to purchase external storage for camera writes.
