I’ve got one of those random wireless NVR’s (Heimvision) with K8208-3W firmware. After I did a recent firmware upgrade, I see a networking services option called “Chromecast”. How exactly does this work? If I enable this, does that mean the NVR should be discoverable within the Google Home app?
If I try to add a new device nothing is found, so wondering if I need to search under the Google integrations. But not sure what to search for.
Just curious if anyone knows exactly what that “Chromecast option” does.
