Is there an order of operation regarding how BI handles the tasks in Clips and Archiving? Looking in the message logs at time stamps it appears that BI executes all operations near simultaneously, but I’d prefer to have it sequentially, if possible.
The use-case looks like this: New clips are on a fast internal SSD alloted 100GB in BI of 125GB free. ShortTerm storage is on a decent internal HDD alloted 3GB in BI of 4GB free. LongTerm storage is on an external NAS alloted 14GB in BI of 15GB free. The operations call for Move from SSD to HDD, Move from HDD to NAS, and Delete from NAS as allotments fill.
Is there a way to configure BI so that the Delete operation from the NAS happens first to completion, followed by the Move from HDD to NAS, finishing with the Move from SSD to HDD in sequential order?
Does it matter how the folders are named or listed top-to-bottom in the left-hand window pane?
