Clips not playing

Set to record 10 seconds when triggered and clips show with 10 sec (approx) duration. However, one the main console (BI server) playback controls are greyed out. On my mobile I see the alerts (push notifications) and clip but again no playback. Any thoughts on what could be the issue please? (I have not attended to the server for some time and cannot recall if I might have changed anything - but do not recall that I did). Ver 5.3.0.3.

Edit: It looks like the WD 4TB Purple drive went offline. Have reconnected and it spun up on restart. Will check to see if it works now.

This is now working. Not sure what happened. I might have moved the data connector (drive was spinning) when I removed the PC cover (as I sometimes do during warmer weather), but the drive caddy was seated below the cover so...
