Was pretty impressed on how fast the camera's white balance bounced back. All my cams are on UPS because this strike killed the power for a few seconds.

Great catch! But it's the exposure that adjusted itself instead of the white balance.
Exactly...it must of affected my brain too LOL
You got lucky! I had a strike hit the utility pole where my camera was mounted. It blew the RJ45 off, but camera survived!
I have to thank @looney2ns for getting me to ground mine correctly with #6 copper....so far good
And I actually got my Dish and other utilities properly grounded in the process and keeping it out of my panel.
