And why is the blue part less than the red part? I set pre record to 5 seconds...

Post screenshots of the settings. You are probably on a newer BI version and it shows or is called something else.

BI stability depends on the build number. If it's unstable choose a later build that others have found stable. I find going back often doesn't solve the issue so forwards is the only way.
