I have 4 Dahua cameras, one a few months older than the other three.
They are all IPC-HDW2431R-ZS
The older one has firmware 2.622.0000000.18.R, Build Date: 2017-11-10
The newer ones have firmware 2.622.0000000.23.R, Build Date: 2018-03-30
As far as I can tell configuration is the same between all of them, and I have them set up in my Synology Surveillance Station recording with H.265. The mobile client has problems scrolling back on the timeline for the new cameras, but not the old one which makes me wonder what has changed between these versions.
How can I see release notes for dahua firmware? Can I download the old firmware somewhere and try on one of my cameras? ... and where do I get newer firmware anyway? The web interface says there isn't a newer version on any of them but that's obviously not true for the old camera.
