Hello all,
I'm a newbie here so please be gentle
I have a Concept Pro VHDIPM-4V2 NVR which I'm trying to set up, but not having a lot of success so am hoping someone can offer some help please. I've tried contacting Concept Pro but to no avail as they are apparently a B2B organisation only.
I have a couple of Sricam SP015's and a dome camera all which I can successfully connect to my PC over the network running either the i-PIMS (Concept Pro's own software, but the manual is a bit light on essential details) or Sricam software so know they work, but am failing to connect them to the NVR.
With the cameras connected directly to the NVR ports, it attempts to connect to the cameras but just sits there with the spinning wheel and "Connecting" displayed on the attached monitor. In this setup, the cameras are not visible or connectable to the PC. The NVR appears to be connected to the network as I can connect to the NVR from the PC to remotely configure it but can't get any further or connect or view the cameras. There is an option to remotely configure the NVR cameras directly via the PC, but this option is greyed-out. I don't know if there's a firewall, port or some other setting issue. Checking the NVR IP details, all seem to be correct (IP address, DNS etc.) and the network map shows connected to the network.
I have read elsewhere that the Sricam SP015 cameras are P2P only (and a bit flaky too), but I can't find any details on the other camera and neither can I log into any of the cameras through a browser despite having the IP addresses and port details (ascertained from the i-PIMS network scan), so can't identify further. I don't want to buy another camera yet as I wouldn't be sure if I was buying one that would be compatible.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Frank.
