How I used my computer to access the 192.166.254.n POE cameras in order to use browser log into camera, and/or SADP co configure the camera.
Configure/change POE cameras on 254 POE network, How I did it.
Unplug ethernet cable from computer.
Change computer to Fixrd IP 192.168.254.250
gateway 192.168.254.1
Use spare ethernet cable to connect computer to one of the POE ports on the NVR.
Browser to camera IP 192.168.254.n
Return connections and your computer to normal connection , setings, etc.
Smile.
Alternate:
Consider if you have a laptop, connect it the POE net and access from the notebook.
