Is there a way to configure Hikvision's ivms4200 client to use the substream for its main view. Looks to me like it always uses the main stream. My poor CPU is screaming for relief!
Go into the system options and the image tab. Make sure the stream is NOT on auto select. Go back to the view screen and stop all the views so nothing is displayed. Then right click on the camera and you can select the stream to use.
This is what I remember without being at my system. If you can't figure it out I can give better notes later.
