Looks interesting. I can certainly leave my porch lights on to help.

This Hikvision technical bulletin may help.

I had this same problem with one of my dome cameras. To fix it, I placed a rubber O-ring between the cameras foam rig and the acrylic dome. Doing this meant there has no way for IR light to reflect into the camera lens. The O-ring was the same size as the foam ring.
Thanks for posting this. It describes the issue I have with one of my cameras.

I too was thinking to buy a turret camera, because of this ir reflection issue.
I prefer the compact profile of these dome cameras tho
I've ordered some O-rings, when I have the time, I'll fit them.
The camera in question has enough street light and does not really need night vision.
