Connecting through IDMSS

Hi everyone I have 2 cameras setup now and can view them through SmartPSS and I also can view them through IDMSS but only if I am connected to my wireless network. As soon as I leave the house and wireless range no more connection I though I had set them up correctly.
Any thoughts?

How did you set them up in your app? What for a connection do you use? To less details. The simplest way is to use p2p. for security reasons, like nayr wrote better use vpn. Or you put them in an separate network (dmz, vlan)

I set them up as ip/domain
If I try to setup as P2P it gives me an error can't connect. I have tried several times and different ways. I will attempt when I get home tonight.

when you activate p2p it must show after a few seconds with updating the webpage that it´s online. If u use a carrier grade nat (no public ip) it´s a bit difficult. You needs to check you external ip address to verify this.
