I want to build birdwatching camera. I have zoom lens from old video camera with focal length 10 to 120mm. My idea is to use cheap Chinese WiFi camera module and lithium battery pack. Is it possible to connect those module to Android directly, without router. Camera as AP or WiFi direct? AP will be best, especially if more than one user can connect simultaneously.
Which module type (Hisilicon family CPU or something else) to chose?
My lens was originally made for true 1/2" sensor, so big sensor will be the best, but I found only expensive IMX185 without WiFi.

is from Blaupunkt SVC100 camera. Holes on mount ring are exactly right for 38 x 38 module. When another 2 spacer will came from China, I will post some pictures, those I get with only 2 spacer is great, sharpnes and low light capability with 1/3" IMX225 board is exelent.
2 maybe suitable 1/3" modules
