Connector Name(s)

I have some HIKVISION and DAHUA POE cameras and I need to get some of the things that you screw onto the connector where your Ethernet cable plugs into the cameras. What is that dohicky called so I can look them up online to purchase some more? When I ran my cables inside the house I forgot to put those on. i have since learned they are to prevent corrosion of the connectors and want to put them on, but of course I can't find where I stored them so I need to purchase new ones. I haven't checked to see if they are the same across those two manufacturers, even though they look alike.

Dont go crazy for them..just wrap your connections with coax seal - available on amazon...they will be just fine..

Fender man where do you get your coax seal. I'd like to try the silicone variety

The stuff im talking about looks like electrical tape but its not...its forms a tight seal

I've heard of someone using dialectic grease on network connectors, does that work?

The coax seal i linked to and the stuff you linked to is the same product...
I would not use grease...never have, and never had any issues with connectors..
