Continuous recording stops and starts when changing profiles

I used to have a hidden camera for continuous recording set to 1 profile and another visible camera with substream for motion detection with uses various profiles.
Now I have decided to try combining them into 1 camera but I notice every time I change profile it starts recording a new clip.

Can I prevent this? If the profile changes keep on recording and do not start a new clip? My profiles are changed frequently - motion on/off for day night, when people are going out and in for example

I believe this was the setting I forgot to tick - just trying it out - didn't start a new clip when I changed profiles

Nope still got 2 out of 5 cameras restarting a new recording clip when i change profiles.
All settings look the same for each one but 2 out of 5 start a new clip.

Can't work it out.

Any suggestions?
