Hello,

a friend told me that he is recording the live footage of his HikVision IPC on a NAS storage. But when the storage is full the HikVision will not overwrite the old footage and stopp the recording.

So I looked inside the seetings if the continuously recoding is enable - yes it is!

Is there another issue?

Regards Basti

Yes

Continuous recoding means that you are recording the stream 24/7

The interaction with the NAS is ONLY the location of that recording, there will be a settings on that IPC that says OVERWRITE older recordings

That needs to be enabled

Hi Basti...try this: Here you can enable or disable overwrite
Enter the Record Schedule Settings interface: Configuration >Advanced Configuration> Storage > Record Schedule

Do I also have to change the permissions for the user witch is connected to the NAS.
Maybe it's not possible to delete something?

So maybe this is my issue. I already had enabled the continuous recording to overwrite the old footage.
