Convert/Export Encoder Profile Configuring

When exporting clips to MP4 in Blue Iris, in the Convert/export window under Output Format, there's an option to "Configure" the Encoder Profile. Is this a means of improving the MP4 quality?

I'm exporting clips to MP4, but they're kind of light-colored and noisy, not the same quality that playing back the BVRs directly in Blue Iris produce.

By the way, none of this is covered in the Help File.

On my system I get a raw snip from the BVR file if I used the below options (re-encode video) unticked).

I'm pretty sure the encoder profiles only come into play if that option is selected. No matter what encoder profiles you use/create they'll only make the quality worst that the original as MP4 is a lossy codec - FYI as no video re-encode is taking place exports are almost instant as it's a simple disk copy type exercise.

@CrazyAsYou, thank you for that. I will uncheck that.

Begs the question, why does Ken at Blue Iris have that set as the default?
