Converting ipCam 4K .dav files to another format

My Lorex Ipcam system records 4K. I can download the native .dav files and play them with a some issue on MPC-HC. Only other player on my PC that can play it is Amcrest Smart Play but the export to .avi feature doesn't work properly and only outputs .avi files with 0kb size. Handbrake won't work either.

Is there another solution for this? I'd like to get the .dav files converted to a format that I can load into my video editor (Vegas Pro).

Thanks for that link. Even though this Dahua Smart player looks Identical to the Amcrest Smart Player the export function worked.

The Dahua Toolbox suite contains the latest version 4 of the Smart Player.
