Copying firmware from one camera to another?

Hi,

I have two 2CD2132's. One with 5.1.2 and one with 5.1.6 firmware. Both are chinese version cameras hacked to english by seller.

Can I upgrade the camera with 5.1.2 by copying files from the other camera?

There's a warning in /dav/davinci.tar.gz.patch.txt stating that I may brick the camera if I copy the patched files without the patched binaries. (the first line is Cyclone Bit Xtra Patcher 0.0.7b)

I believe that to be a CBX log, if forum member CBX says no I would suggest not doing it.
If you need to upgrade the other camera to 5.16 you have several choices.
Download the official firmware 5.16 from Hikvision and upgrade your Chinese version camera with TFTP.
This will likely result in Chinese language menus.
If you want English menus you may attempt the hex edit hack or purchase a CBX region code fix.
