The famous HP Black Friday Costco deal appears to have come early. I type this on the 10th gen Intel laptop I bought in 2019 intending to use it for BlueIris. The 13th gen Intel i3 is on sale at Costco for $350 now.
I ended up not using the laptop for BI because I needed to replace a 10 year old laptop I daily use, but my guess is that it would work fine with external storage.
I had to replace the battery after 4 years and it cost $27 on Amazon. The Bluetooth died and I bought a $6 USB module to replace it. Probably get another 3 years out this before replacing it with the Costco BF deal in 2026.
