Coyote Attacks Two Year Old Girl In My Town

I have been posting videos of the coyotes going by my house and the one killing an opossum. Plenty of people are reporting coyote sightings. Today a news story came out about an attack in the Northern part of my town.

Something needs to be done for sure. The herd certainly needs to be thinned a the minimum.

Could be issues with food supply. Maybe the areas been over hunted or some natural issue at play that's reduced natural prey. From what I know coyote's don't normally attack humans as they scared of us through hunting. However, the young of any animal are always going to be seen as prey by any larger predator.
