Coyote Captures Opossum

At times things looked bad for this opossum, but it "played possum" for about 40 minutes and then got up and walked away. Video runs at 4x speed.

Here is some bonus footage. It is the normal speed version of the Coyote playing with some small prey. You might be right about the field mice or possibly gophers. There are a lot of small critters that live on the hillside.

IMO, I'm pretty sure both (his video and your video) are coyotes. His is no fox, I'm sure of that.
