running BI for ages now im getting off the scale cpu and ram usage while recording. is their a way to cut the usage down as its causing big time lag on my system.. usage is ok when not recording

High ram usage while recording, too? That is strange. If you already have direct-to-disk recording enabled for all your cameras, then perhaps something is wrong with the hard drive.

Thankyou the direct to disk was not enabled.. now it is and it seems to be 100 times better.. thanks for the help...
