Crazy break in video

We observed these guys pull up in the u-haul and Mercedes. Our guys knew what was happening right away, so they had the cops on the phone pretty quick. They were able to get into the building and get 8 dirt bikes out and into the truck in about 3 minutes. We watched them pull out and get on the highway. We let the cops know that they were headed Northbound. It turned out that a highway patrolman was on the highway and picked them up not far from the on ramp. He chased them for about an hour and a half. Several other officers joined in and we think a chopper was above at some point. They eventually bailed out of both vehicles and three of the four were apprehended. The fourth guy may have been apprehended since. They were able to recover the bikes, the u-haul, which was stolen, and I believe they impounded the Mercedes.

Judging how much trouble 1 cardboard box presented to their hasty retreat I'd consider having about 4 dozen of them triggered to fall from the ceiling when glass breakage occurs! :highfive:

They are some dumb ass dicks! From 48sec in when the first guy jumps a box and almost fails then the second guys struggles to take a bike from a stand and reverse it out you just knew they were going to get caught!!!

I really hope that they did scoop up that last turd. Congratulations to NHM for another fine catch.
 
I really hope this never happens to me. I'd have a really difficult time not becoming obsessed afterwards, tracking who this trash was and then pursuing them after the law is gives out their "punishment" (aka probation).
 
Another job well done by the folks at Night Hawk Monitoring and law enforcement.
 
We have a brief police report from that morning and I have spoke with the detective that is working the case. Apparently, the Mercedes was a rental from some fly by night rental agency on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. and the U-Haul was rented and not stolen. It was rented by someone's family member who lent it to someone who borrowed and so on, so the case is still open and there are still a couple of people that need to be caught that were involved in this. It is a theft ring out of Orlando. When I have some more details, I'll post them.
