I was doing some Gooooogling for ALPR stuff and I came across a developer blog post from NVIDIA.

It is out of my realm of development experience, but thought I would share the link here in case anyone else has the skills/interest to develop something.

Looks intriguing, but too deep for me, too. OpenALPR.com gets the job done and is only $5 a month.
