That's typically how it works. Sharpening increases apparent noise. More noticeable in low light where there's more noise. That's why most of us here (I think) reduce sharpening which is doing basically the same as what happens when running the the soft profile. The Dahua cams also already tend to come a little oversharpened at default settings.

As @bigredfish says, it looks pretty good to me when there's light. What are you looking to improve?

But as others have said, all cameras need light and when the light comes on it is fine.

I would suggest just using the default profile because soft and vivid can play with other parameters and potentially make it worse.
