Dahua 3mp starlights

Dahua has introduced several 3mp starlight cameras...the primary benefit is a 4:3 view over 16:9 which is beneficial in many scenarios....

I have the Hikvision 3MP Darkfighter class DS-2CD2335FWD-I which I've been extremely happy with which like you say gives the 4:3 view - I may have to grab one of these 3Mp cameras when the turret arrives as these seem to be a step up over the HK.

I've never looked to see which sensor is in this one but she has been a good workhorse.

These are just updates to previous models. They added ePoE. Everything else is the same.
